GameChanger Award
The Idaho Youth Sports Commission’s GameChanger Award recognizes coaches and players who stand apart in their efforts to better the sports experience for all involved.
GameChanger COACH Award
Coaches can provide a lasting impact on a kid’s life. By teaching essential life skills that transcend the scoreboard, great coaches build not just better players but better people. We recognize those who stand out among the many great coaches in our community.
GameChanger ATHLETE Award
GameChanger athletes play a special role in helping develop better players, better people, and better sports. It is not an easy role, and we are proud to honor those who stand out among their peers.
Our Award Criteria
A GameChanger coach:
• Strives to win on the scoreboard, and teaches and models essential lessons for life.
• Develops connections that inspire great effort from his/her players.
• Consistently models character and sportsmanship.
Our Award Criteria
A GameChanger athlete:
• Works to make self better.
• Works to make their teammates better.
• Strives to make the game better by modeling character and sportsmanship.
2024 Coaches and Players Recognition
By March 1st:
• Submit your nominations using the website form below. Please fully complete the form. Submissions for athletes are open to those up to age 18 from any sport.
By March 15th:
• The IYSC awards up to 8 GameChanger winners for both coaches and athletes.
April 20th:
• Winners will be honored at our “Come Play With Us” Dinner Auction at the Boise Centre
Each Winner::
• Receives a $500 check back to their respective programs, and will be celebrated on our social media and website.
