The Zach Madison Foundation
The Zach Madison Foundation
Zach Madison was born in July 2004. He loved anything with a ball and loved playing sports and games. Zach tried everything and encouraged others to do the same!
Inspired by Zach’s “no fear of failure” mentality, his friends and schoolmates found encouragement to overcome their own fears and try new things. Zach loved having them involved.
Zach passed away suddenly in June of 2015. We formed the Zach Madison Foundation that year to remember his love of sports and honor his legacy of inclusion. The foundation has raised nearly $150,000 for the youth of Idaho and funds are used in three primary ways:
• Provide training for coaches and parents so that young people have a better experience playing the games they love
• Provide scholarships for young people that may not have the resources to pay fees and dues
• Help build and improve facilities so that young people have a place to play
Zach had a passion for sports and loved playing them with his friends. The Zach Madison Foundation endeavors to provide other young people the same opportunity!
